Thank you from a4uEvents

A big thank you to all of you who attended the a4uEvent onboard DFDS Seaways on Wednesday and those who opted for the cruise to Amsterdam we hope
you had a fantastic time (we did!)

We would like to give a huge thanks to DFDS and Equator who made this event possible, I’m sure you will all agree that DFDS couldn’t have been more accommodating if they tried so thank you on behalf of all those who attended.

Fun and games begun on board once we set sail, congratulations to Rick Jones from Muscular Supplements, champion of the Nintendo wii tournament and employment4students, winner of our casino tournament who both walked away with a Nintendo Wii.

We trust those who stayed on board enjoyed Shirley Bassey’s performance and that fun was had by all!

Registration for this event will close at 12 noon on Monday 26th March, so hurry and register today!

A4uEvents are please to announce that partners are also invited on the 28th March for the cruise to Amsterdam courtesy of DFDS Seaways.  Newcastle has a number of places of interest to visit during the day, these include: 

Baltic Art Gallery, Angel of the North, The Castle, Bessie Surtees House, Discovery Museum, Laing Art Gallery, St Nicholas Cathedral.  Of course the traditional shopping in fantastic locations like the Metro-centre and/or Eldon Square is also a great option. 

Buses will be provided from the centre of Newcastle, Central Station, to transport partners to the ferry terminal @ 15.00pm.

In this role, Heather analyses the trends affecting businesses online and worked with Hitwise clients to identify opportunities and threats to online business growth.  Heather writes regular Insight reports on the gambling, travel, search and retail sector, covering affiliate marketing, search and audience profiling,  She is a regular speaker at industry conferences and is quoted regularly in trade publications, including NMA and Marketing as well as the dailies including the Financial Times, the Evening Standard and the telegraph.

Prior to joining Hitwise, Heather was a Vice President with Dalbar, a market research firm in Boston, Massachusetts and Toronto, Ontario.

It is recommended that the Heineken Experience is the first stop in Amsterdam, aiming to get there via tram by 11am, its takes approximately 75 minutes which will mean you are free to spend the rest of the afternoon as you please.
 

DFDS will be providing the first 50 affiliates who register (must select the Heineken trip when registering) free entry into the Heineken Experience.  You will be notified by email.     

Transport for DFDS Event

Train Station

Two complimentary buses will be provided by DFDS from Newcastle Central Station on the morning of the 28th March; one at 9.15am and another at 9.45am. These buses are 71 seater branded DFDS Seaways double-deckers, they will collect from directly outside the train station and deliver delegates to the terminal ready to board the ship. 

Airport

DFDS have also agreed a discounted rate with East Coast Taxis (0191 253 3777) to provide Taxis from the airport to the port at a reduced rate of £13.50 (normal black cab rate £25.00). DFDS have provided them with a flush fund so depending on the number of people traveling from the airport this fund should cover fares (please team up where possible for the taxi ride).  Please quote a4u when making bookings.
