Transport for DFDS Event

Train Station
Two complimentary buses will be provided by DFDS from Newcastle Central Station on the morning of the 28th March; one at 9.15am and another at 9.45am. These buses are 71 seater branded DFDS Seaways double-deckers, they will collect from directly outside the train station and deliver delegates to the terminal ready to board the ship.
Airport
DFDS have also agreed a discounted rate with East Coast Taxis (0191 253 3777) to provide Taxis from the airport to the port at a reduced rate of £13.50 (normal black cab rate £25.00). DFDS have provided them with a flush fund so depending on the number of people traveling from the airport this fund should cover fares (please team up where possible for the taxi ride).
